Make relationships legible.
The exploded arrangement separates a lower leaf, upper leaf and alignment plate. Each item number corresponds to one row of the parts list. The purpose is to connect the visual arrangement to the written identification without filling the illustration with repeated labels.
Spatial separation is diagrammatic. It explains which pieces belong together; it does not give an approved assembly movement, fastener specification or operating clearance. Distinguishing a relationship view from a fabrication sheet makes the purpose of the page clearer.
